There’s nothing like a Saturday well spent with people you care about and friends you haven’t met yet— especially in the presence of good food, intriguing conversation, and insanely enlightening visuals and artwork.
You’re invited to join us for a community adventure to the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, a space dedicated to the vibrant artwork of Alex Grey and the journey him and his wife Allyson intend to take people on as they digest the enlightening variety and displays of art with CoSM’s multiple galleries, outdoor installations, onsite cafe, and it’s awesome people.
Although, this isn’t just any trip up to CoSM, this trip will be taking place on the same day as Alex & Allyson’s Full Moon Gathering Ceremony and Celebration. The Full Moon Ceremony hosts inspiring short presentations from wisdom teachers, poets, musicians, and spiritual friends of all faiths. Alex and Allyson share a presentation on the theme of the month, the Light Body.
The performance ceremony adjourns and guests break for live music and dancing, socializing, visiting Entheon, the Mushroom Cafe and the CoSM Shop, gazing into an outdoor bonfire or an indoor fireplace, watching excellent fire-spinning, belly dancing, acrobatics, live painting and more. The evening ends with a closing ceremony and, in harmony with the creatures in our world, a group howl at the moon.

Our journey up to CoSM, a 1.5 hour drive, will be made easy with the opportunity to hop into our Full Size, 7 seater, SUV Rental. We will meet up at the IKEA Parking Lot in New Haven, CT for 3PM for the sake of getting together and enjoying a nice carpooled road trip into Upstate New York together. The event itself ends at 12:00 AM but we will make a community decision on when we’d like to leave come the day + time.
You’re entirely welcome to journey in your own car if that feels right for you.
